A well-characterized primary reference standard for voretigene neparvovec has been established from a dedicated manufacturing run. This reference standard is used for the calibration of assays (e.g., qPCR, potency) and as a control in identity and purity tests. A two-tiered system of primary and working reference standards is maintained.
